Where I work had held a family trivia night , a first in our area , raising money for more local community activities.
I booked a table but then we had a work table so I let the kids invite a friend each and they had eight at their table, whilst I sat with my work table.
They did really well...one of the instant questions was if you had odd socks on, to be the first up on stage.well one of my sons friends went sliding on up and ta da!! Odd Socks..it was very funny at the time..they won a few instant questions and my 9 yr old won the door prize which was a beauty pack and bottle of wine! She thought it was marvelous even though they gave the wine to me. My son won a heads and tails prize and promptly gave the prize to his little sister..everyone was ooohhh!! I nearly cried..they can be good!!LOL..Had to laugh though..she promptly gave the prize to her friend. my eldest daughters friend won $30 off the 100 board so everyone was very happy..
Our table won over all..and I received a box of chocs..I left the wine to the others..
then I won a prize in the raffles..which is $50 at the local pub..
Not a bad night at all..

Sounds like you all had a ball and took home the loot as well...lol...
Kids can be remarkable when need be...They can certainly make you feel proud at times...
Well it sounds like you had a good night and that is the most important thing. The fact that you won a few things is just great.
sounds like a great evening and prizes too. :) we are having one soon but i can't go coz i'm babysitting that night. bummer. no mind, there will be others.
