One of my nice neighbours have complained about my dogs.
They are making too much noise.
This is a street where every 2 nd house has 2-3 dogs.
My 'nicer' neighbours down the street have pitt bull type dogs that occasionally get out and they yell..get off the street!!
Oh..well..I assume it is my nice drunken neighbour that lives next door to me..he lives to complain. His dog never barks..LOL..
As the nice ranger said..it was just a courtesy call..
Made my day..

Oh my, don't some people take things too far.
Lot's of dogs in our street as well, the all bark it's normal.
At least you got away with a warning. Let's hope all goes well for you.

What time are they allowed to bark :) There are a few dogs around us, their barking becomes familiar .. you know someone is approaching that house .. that's all. Occasionally we get a continuous yap and that's just what it is. something annoying the dog. Never really bothers me. Would if I had a hangover though. Now fxxxing lawnmowers that's a different matter. WHY first thing Sunday. Why on a quiet Saturday arvo .. I guess that's the only time available. But, decent people should know that drunks like to sleep in Sat & Sun LOL
thats about it..barking at people approaching the house..the odd cat..and my maltese does love the postman but I only let him out for a treat now and then!!LOL...
I have no idea when they are 'allowed' to bark??
The ranger said they have to follow through with complaints..if they receive a 2nd within a time frame , I will receive a 'warning' letter. then if they receive a 3 rd complaint..the ranger will come out and door knock the whole street to find out if anyone else is bothered. If 3 people are bothered then they take action. I have no idea what though??
I am so used to all the dogs in this street. there are many. they don't bother me at all.
Yes lawnmowers bother me too..and I am not usually hungover..
