Thanks for the TLC advice with 9 yr old..she is at her dads this weekend..will see how she behaves when she returns.
13 yr old son went over this morning as his friends had night 2 , of our turn sleepover marathon. ( they spend a night or two at each others houses). He came back after 2 hours. Luckily I was on my way home from the shops and found him walking home.
He and his father had a run in. His father was starting at his brother so he decided to tell his father what for.!! Apparently he really did tell his father exactly what he was thinking.So he ended the conversation with 'Bite me..I am leaving'. and he did.
Anyway at least he is home now so I can sort out his school uniforms. I have to take the shirts back as they are too small but I have some new shorts my girlfriend picked up for me last year at sales that fit so I will save $40 odd dollars there for a pair. I just have to find some undies. How hard is it to buy bonds undies?? everywere I go they don't have the style he wears. This kid is so fussy.Its his big brothers fault..he has to have the same.
Anyway I am working Monday, Thursday and Fridays 9 - 2pm. So that is great with the kids school buses. I just have to get used to doing everything in the afternoons for me. The centre is catering for families with children 0-16yrs. I am with the preschool as their office admin person. We haven't opened yet so I still don't know how to do any of the admin work but it will sort it self out. My supervisor is really nice.
I have walked to work in the rain for 2 days. I am determined to walk unless it is hailing. Its not a long walk but I learnt on day 2 to take a spare pair of shoes!!
Anyhow..son has put his rats on my lap..so I will go help him clean the cage so they can back inside. I still like the little things.
Oh yeah..our centre is covered in little frogs.. I have never seen anything like it. YOu can't move for frogs.The council is going to get someone to look into it as they set the alarms off all the time.

If you want the truth, ask a child :) and you will get it, so the saying goes.
Those frogs must be a big problem, I wonder what colour are they as in green or brown!
Guess you got a few blisters or sore feet with walking.
You are a good mum to help clean the rat cage, and I think also a brave person to allow a rat as a pet, and I know you like it too....

the frogs are brown. I am fine with them being small but a larger one hopped inside and no-one else would touch it so I had to catch it..eek..strange I know considering I have found out I like the rats!! I think it is the hopping at you I don't like.
No blisters as yet..just wet feet and shoes!!
And yes..my son does tell it how it is to anyone..but not always in such colourful language.
My youngest will tell her father off if he starts on her she can give as good as she gets, will also stand up for me when he is having a go at me which he does a lot when he is drinking.
Frogs are something I have never actually seen except on telly.
yr job sounds great. good hours too. i remember school uniforms being expensive when my kids went to school too. they keep you on your toes don't they? not long now before they go back to school.
Just a quick round before I turn this computer off for a week...Omg a week...lol....
The job sounds perfect for you...As for the frogs we went to the aquarium supply shop yesterday and they are selling tadpoles there for nearly $3 each...Guess who wants one....Yep Daniel....So now when we get back we have to go and get one...Should be interesting....lol...

Hiya! eeekkkkk, FROGS!! I cannot handle them and personally think they are the spawn of the devil! I have a phobia, can you tell?! :) We get the little brown ones inside all the time.
At least walking in the rain would be slightly better than walking in 40degree heat I suppose!

Frogs no probs, can pick up live with, but RATS really freak me out and I sool old Slytherian the snake on to them and they give him bumps in the body!!Once Slytherian was stuck in the top of one of his haunts a hollow post as the rat in his tum stopped him sliding in..he was so embarrassed....regards elizabeth
