Well I had my lights off since 6pm, simply because the kids are all elsewhere and I have been playing on the computer. How did you all go?
My eldest son is not talking to me at the moment. I have been through this before with him so it is a waiting game for him to come around . It doesn't hurt any less than the first moment of him moving in with his father and losing contact with him. ( Strange as that may sound considering he only lives 5 mins away). I know I have done nothing wrong and have told him and showed him enough that I am here for him no matter what.

kids hurt. my friend's son has just gotten himself into trouble and it's causing her a lot of heartache. they just don't think about things before they act i suppose. hope you feel better soon and things improve.

Did the earth hour thingy but we do that most nights anyway..I`m forever telling the kids to turn the lights off as I hate paying out huge electric bills...
As for your son i`m sure he`ll come around...Sounds as though he is the meat in the sandwich thanks to your ex....All you can do is wait and be patient with him ( as I know you are)
Thanks Fran and Mandy..It is just a vivious cycle that he is caught up in and I do understand that. Just miss the regular contact.
Definitely agree onthe elec bills..My kids are terrible..they leave everything on all the time.

We always turn lights off in our house when not in use - maybe that sounds a bit Irish! but I think you know what I mean:)

I feel your pain lil harry, Nik and I arent talking at the moment. For the first time I put my foot down and said 'you fix it this time'. she tends to put wedges between people with her gripes.
