Girls!!

Nic had her first cervical cancer prevention needle on Tuesday. We had to wait awhile afterwards as she went faint but she has been ok since..just a sore arm.. She is not looking forward to the 2nd or 3rd one.

I have to go and get a raised mark on my skin cut out. I have to wait until April to get into the Skin specialist. Now it is on my mind and bugging me. It has been there for a while but the Dr said it will keep catching on things and we need to check it for as it could turn cancerous.

My mum is bugging me no end..have I had this checked? have I had that checked? why haven't I?? I know I am getting older but I really don't want to be focusing these things all the time. I am feeling paronoid enough with waiting until April. She wanted to know why I haven't had breast screening done.. I said ..Hello..it is only free for Over 50's!! If it was free for under 50's then yes I might go..but I do not feel I need to be checked..self checking seems ok..( we do not have any family history there) Then she goes on about other bits..I mean for years she never even told anyone about any of her medical history and now she is nagging. and NO she doesn't have anything bad ( that I am aware of) that should concern me too much.

My youngest daughter is being a handful again. Raising her voice at everyone, everyafternoon. She doesn't like her class work this year. Last year she was in yr3/4, mostly doing year 4 work .Now she is in Yr4 and says it is boring. I will give it a month as they are reviewing where they are all at. unfortunately the school numbers have dropped and there isn't a Yr4/5, only yr5/6. She doesnt' like going to bed and is up late all the time. I am trying to get her to bed by 9pm and am meeting much resistance. Another mum says her daughter is moody all the time and she really feels they are all reaching puberty symptoms earlier.

My son says I am not nice lately either..I said sorry . I am. I just can't stand it when they all come home from school this week ( and yes its only week 2 ) and she starts. She just won't stop.

Hello lil harry,
Tell me a person who does like needles! I have given plenty in my time as I was a RN but isn't it good that they have one for cervical cancer prevention now.
I do hope all turns out ok for you in all fronts you mentioned.
Take care,
Margaret

We can`t win can we????.....Can`t wait for them to get back to school for the peace and it seems to be worse when they are...lol....

Daniel passed out early last night, worn out from the week that was...If only he would do that every night of the week....Too much to ask for I suppose...lol...

Krystal ended up only having two of the injections as she was one that had a severe reaction to it...

Try and have a relaxing weekend...

My daughter, forgets I'm her mother, unfortunately 'mothers' say "that tooth needs fixing, check this, check that, do this do that!" that's been our job for years, then you sack us LOL I wish I had listened to my Mum .. :)
Yep Lil Harry, the 'lnet has been the best thing for me since sliced bread .. my mail, newspapers, dictionary, encyclopaedia, chat (though I've been slck lately, I do keep up with everyone's chatter) music, references, cutting pasting, typing, researching, games, laughs there is no end to the entertainment. I even have my morning cuppa with Ed and the Old Blue Bus. AND I do my housework in between!
I'm on a roll now contacts are just being made and now the 'word' I'm here will be passed around .. Beatnik Cas was part of the 'old crowd' but it was so HUGE you didnt always know the friend of the guy in the next bedroom etc. - a common denominator was Wally Mudd as Red McKelvie said "he held Taylor Square to ransom for 5 years" he was Charismatic and EVERYONE wanted to be his 'friend' unfortunately this led to his downfall and ultimate early death, sorry about the long conversation - lucky it wasnt on Nong blog or I would have been electrocuted.
