Driving home from a pleasant morning shopping, I managed to collect this:-
I could hear a terrible noise and couldn't immediately pull over, so people were stopping and looking to see where all the noise was coming from. when I managed to get around a corner I found this large drill bit (?) in my tyre and the air starting to come out. Drivers side rear tyre.
Nic was with me and wanted a chance to change the tyre all by herself , so I said ' of course you can' LOL
2 nice elderly men came to our aid and took over. Nic was abit disapointed- she will get over it when she has to change her own in the middle of nowhere one day.. A nice act , considering I was in the middle of the shopping centre and no one else gave us a 2nd glance.
Later when I had to pick her up from Uni, the car was again making a racket and I found a piece of hard plastic stuck to the front tyre this time from chewy gum. I was able to pull it off with no damage done..thank goodness.
I shall have to be more careful around here with all the rubbish I am collecting from the middle of the roads!

Hi 'L, have missed you, glad you got the tyre changed okay, plenty of willing helpers at least. I find it is always the elderly gents who are quick to give assistance, whether it is car trouble, or someone giving you a hard time, they step up, I love them, I have tremendous time for these lovely people.
I do hope the tyre wasn't too new otherwise it is a terrible waste of money, wonder who is missing a drill bit?
